Emma Bamford - Director - Clinical Specialist

Emma Bamford  is a chartered physiotherapist, and has specialised In Hand Therapy since 2008. She has a vast amount of experience helping patients manage a wide variety of common hand conditions. She also has a special interest in hand trauma and helping people recover following significant injuries, and has recently lead a UK wide resear

Emma Bamford  is a chartered physiotherapist, and has specialised In Hand Therapy since 2008. She has a vast amount of experience helping patients manage a wide variety of common hand conditions. She also has a special interest in hand trauma and helping people recover following significant injuries, and has recently lead a UK wide research project to improve patient care following flexor tendon injuries.  Emma is an internally respected therapist and has presented her work nationally and internationally. Alongside her clinical work Emma also lectures on the MSc Hand Therapy programme at the University of derby.

She treats acute traumatic and sporting injuries, with expertise in splinting, and also enjoys treating chronic hand and wrist conditions. Ella is also involved in the England cricket setup, alongside her role as a long-standing BAH

 

Ella is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years’ experience, specialising in hand therapy since 2000.
